Direct Access Units - DAU
SPINNER Direct Access Units enable the quick and easy access to coaxial line sections. They are the most versatile and sophisticated possibility for high-precision measurement and tests of broadcast antenna systems. All kind of measurements can be performed in a few minutes without dismantling any rigid lines or cables.
During normal system operation the feed through insert grant unlimited performance and causes no degradation of VSWR and power rating.
Direct Access Units from SPINNR are available in sizes from 1 5/8” EIA to 9 3/16” EIA. They are made for outdoor use and support the maximum ratings defined by the EIA standard.
There is no need for adaptors, since the measurement insert includes testing ports. The insert has two high quality ports for tuning electrical length or measuring feeder VSWR. Apart from not requiring any adaptors, they ensure more accurate measurements. Depending on the characteristic impedance, the ports are 7-16 DIN for 50 ohms and N connectors for 75 ohms.
