SPINNER Rigid Coaxial Lines components - robust performance
A rigid coaxial transmission line is mainly used in broadcast systems to transmit radio frequency signals between transmitter and combiners as well as between combiners and the antenna. The advantage of rigid coaxial lines is that the radiation leakage and attenuation, especially at higher frequencies, is lower than with flexible coaxial cables. This means that greater power can be transmitted, and higher shielding attenuation can be achieved.
This patch panel has been designed for use with interlock type IL-1 with 4 loops. This component ensures safety during signal switching between different transmission lines. The Il-1-4 interlock type ensures that the transmitter is turned off during the switchover to prevent accidental interference or damage to equipment. It plays a vital role in maintaining safety, signal integrity, and efficient operation in broadcasting and communication systems. Il-1 helps manage signal routing efficiently.

The U-link with interlock system 1 (IL 1-4) 5 kW 7-16 male enables you to transmit high-frequency signals reliably and flawlessly with optimum protection of your sensitive equipment in a power range up to 5.0 kW @ 100 MHz , 3.5 kW @ 240 MHz , 2.0 kW @ 860 MHz with maximum passive intermodulation (IM3).
It supports the use of the following frequency bands : Band 1, Band 2, Band 3, Band 4/5

The 7-16 connector has become the most widely used coaxial connection system for mobile communication systems, due to its excellent mechanical and electrical properties. In order to achieve the industry leading intermodulation performance SPINNER applies silver-plating on all inner and outer conductor parts of the standard connector. As a supporting measure, we use exclusively non-magnetic materials, and we have minimized the number of RF contact points. The connection is especially suited for transmitting medium or high power indoors and outdoors.
A rigid coaxial line U-Link with interlock allows rapid changes between system inputs and outputs on a patch panel. Depending on the model, it has either 4 or 10 interlock contacts (IL1-4 or IL 2-10). It ensures quick and secure RF connections while maintaining shielding.
