SPINNER Connectors - Low-Loss And Reliable Connection For Highest Requirements
Connectors for the transmission of high-frequency signals are used in a wide variety of industries such as mobile communication, broadcast, measurement, satellite communication or in radar technology. SPINNER connectors ensure optimal, low-loss signal transmission and extremely sustainable, cost-effective connections. SPINNER connectors are robust and resistant in various climatic environments - from the sea to the desert or even space.
They guarantee excellent electrical and mechanical performance values such as stability for enduring connectivity, meeting the highest sealing requirements and high performance for transmission parameters.
With a 4 1/2" EIA connector HCA550-50 air dielectric cable 5 1/2"-50 premium Plast2000, the cable clamp is screwed onto the trimmed inner and outer conductors. Then the inner and outer conductors are flared. Finally, the connector head is placed on the cable end with the cable clamp and screwed to the flanges. A sealing ring and a copper sealing gasket are installed to ensure adequate impermeability. The cable clamp is completely filled by injecting SPINNER Plast2000 sealing compound to rule out any chance of moisture, sand etc. penetrating into the connector.
A 4 1/2" EIA connector HCA550-50 air dielectric cable 5 1/2"-50 premium Plast2000 is ideally suited for installation on air dielectric cable. The premium design with flared internal and external contacts ensures maximum reliability with high RF power. All connectors have sealed flanges and inlets for overpressure operation.
The connector has a straight direction.
Coaxial flange connectors, generally known as “EIA flanges”, are connected by a coupling element. The flange connector system complies with international standards EIA STD RS-225, 339 IEC, DIN EN 122150 and MIL-F 24044. The EIA flange connectors are excellently qualified suited for pressurized systems and for outdoor installations. 4 1/2" EIA connectors are used to link two elements of a rigid or semi-rigid high performance coaxial transmission line for radio frequency signals. Typically, these are operated in systems for very high power transmission (from kW to MW), e.g. in DAB, DVB or FM broadcast systems or in high-energy applications in research facilities (particle accelerator, plasmatron).
