SPINNER attenuators offer outstanding electrical and mechanical properties

The modular SPINNER system for attenuators offers you great flexibility in the selection of your components. It allows you to combine power, attenuation and connectors according to your individual requirements. The advantages are obvious: cost savings through standardisation and reliable technical quality.

The 50 W 3 dB attenuator 890-960 MHz 7-16 female to 7-16 female low PIM is placed into the signal path and reduces the amplitude of the input signal by 3 dB. This reduces the output power and protects the transmitter of your installation from the effects of excessive power. You can individually combine your attenuator and adapt it to the requirements of your local installation.

When used for in-building installation, a 50 W 3 dB attenuator 890-960 MHz 7-16 female to 7-16 female low PIM allows you to ensure continuous power and power radiation of your antennas within your building.

Outstanding RF characteristics, best possible passive intermodulation and VSWR

The attenuator enables you to transmit high-frequency signals reliably and flawlessly with optimum protection of your sensitive equipment in a power range up to 50 W.

A SPINNER 50 W 3 dB attenuator 890-960 MHz 7-16 female to 7-16 female low PIM guarantees outstanding IM characteristics with maximum passive intermodulation (IM3) of -163 dBc and low VSWR values over the entire frequency range and during the entire operating time.

The attenuator offers on one side an interface 7-16 female and on the other side an interface 7-16 female.

SPINNER attenuators can be mounted vertically or horizontally. Only in a few cases a certain orientation is required for a product and therefore explicitely stated in our product data sheets.

The 50 W 3 dB attenuator 890-960 MHz 7-16 female to 7-16 female low PIM is cooled passively by convection i.e. the heat dissipation via the cooling fins. Due to the flexible mounting options, optimum air circulation and thus cooling can be achieved.

The protection class is IP 20.

The 7-16 connector has become the most widely used coaxial connection system for mobile communication systems, due to its excellent mechanical and electrical properties. In order to achieve the industry leading intermodulation performance SPINNER applies silver-plating on all inner and outer conductor parts of the standard connector. As a supporting measure, we use exclusively non-magnetic materials, and we have minimized the number of RF contact points. The connection is especially suited for transmitting medium or high power indoors and outdoors.
