The outer conductor is firmly clamped by screwing on the cable clamp. The cable clamp provides a thread for screwing into a connector head, in which the inner conductor is then connected, e.g. by soldering.
A SPINNER 7-16 female connector 4-hole panel mounting with male thread M3 guarantees outstanding IM characteristics with maximum passive intermodulation (IM3) of -165 dBc and low VSWR values over the entire frequency range and during the entire operating time.
The connector has a straight direction.
4-hole panel mounting connectors enable wall mounting e.g. on housings. 4-hole panel connectors are inserted into an appropriately prepared notch or bore. On a mounting plate that is perpendicular to the direction of the connector, there are four holes for fastening the connector with screws.
The 7-16 connector has become the most widely used coaxial connection system for mobile communication systems, due to its excellent mechanical and electrical properties. In order to achieve the industry leading intermodulation performance SPINNER applies silver-plating on all inner and outer conductor parts of the standard connector. As a supporting measure, we use exclusively non-magnetic materials, and we have minimized the number of RF contact points. The connection is especially suited for transmitting medium or high power indoors and outdoors.
